Ginebra battles Rain or Shine Paintmasters at the Tacloban City Convention Center
TACLOBAN CITY – Crowd favorite Barangay Ginebra will try to rise in the standings as it battles Rain or Shine Paintmasters in the road game this afternoon at the Tacloban City Convention Center here.
Game time is set at 4:00 o’clock this afternoon inside the fully air-conditioned Tacloban City Convention Center that has a capacity of over 3,000 seats.
Ginebra is running fourth behind league leader Alaska Aces, San Miguel Beermen and Purefoods. with 7 wins against 3 losses in the elimination round of the KFC 2009-2010 Philippine Cup. The Gin Kings is coming from an (89-81) loss against Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs last December 6, 2009. On the same play day, Rain or Shine Paintmasters was subdued by Burger King Whoppers 101-99.
Rain or Shine Paintmasters is carrying a slate of 3 wins to 8 losses into tonight’s ballgame. A win against the Gin Kings will improve its record and be at par with Burger King Whoppers in the standings. Red Bull on the other hand will try to rise from two successive setbacks.

Lucia Realtors vs Coca-Cola Tigers at 5:00 p.m. and Talk N Text Tropang Texters vs. Burger King Whoppers for the final game at 7:00 p.m. Results of the three games yesterday will affect the standings of Barangay Ginebra and Rain or Shine in tonight’s ball game.
